It covers the latest developments in the broad areas of language teaching and applied linguistics, related to English, Telugu and other Indian Languages. With its uniquely broad coverage, the journal offers readers free access to all new research issues relevant to English, Telugu and other Indian language teaching and applied linguistics. While JAETIL strives to maintain high academic standards and an international reputation through the suggestions of the international advisory board, it welcomes original, theoretical and practical submissions from all over the world. The journal includes, but is not limited to the following fields:
Applied Linguistics, Critical Theory, Cultural Studies, Discourse and Interlanguage Pragmatics, Language Teacher Education, Language Testing and Assessment, Variation and Language Change, Language Planning Policy, Media and Language, Research on Language Teaching/Learning, Second Language Acquisition, Sociocultural Factors and Language, Design, Curriculum Development, and Language Pedagogy that are related to English, Telugu and other Indian Languages
The publication frequency of the Journal is quarterly (4 issues per year).
Types of Contributions
The journal publishes the following types of contributions: (1) full-length articles, (2) review articles, (3) book reviews, (4) discussion notes and (5) articles in translation
